Computer Lessons

At Low Veld Academy, children have computer lessons twice a week, with computer literacy being an essential part of our curriculum. In these lessons, students develop skills such as typing accuracy, number and letter recognition, printing, typing sentences, and saving documents, among others.

Parents will be informed about the critical IT programs required for registration for the upcoming year. Low Veld Academy is also transitioning towards an online learning approach.

Reading Culture

Reading is a vital component of our curriculum at Low Veld Academy. Our students are introduced to a variety of genres that enhance their comprehension and writing skills. Children will bring home Sunrise Readers daily, and parents are encouraged to listen to their children read and sign the reading log. A structured reading program will be implemented from the first term through to the end of the year, ensuring consistent progress and development in literacy.
